With scores locked at 0-0 in Wolves’ Super League match with Wigan, the halfback grubbered through for himself, and then had the presence of mind to kick a second time, looping the ball over the head of a bewildered Matt Bowen. The former Cowboys fullback has scored plenty of wonderful individual tries in his time, but was a mere spectator as the England international regathered and grounded under the posts.

Myler, who has formerly played for Widnes and Salford, has mustered an excellent tryscoring record at Wolves, and following talk of a switch to Australia, this effort would have done his chances with a list of potential suitors no harm at all. Just saw the Richie Myler try. Amazing skill. One of the greatest individual tries every scored.— Andrew Ferguson (@AndrewRLP) July 3, 2015

Warrington would go on to win the game 17-6, and move up to sixth spot on the English Super League ladder.
